China is a socialism country, but introduced capitalist business methods in 1987 (Bennett, 1995), and opened its markets to other countries to developed its economy. The capitalist business methods have made great achievements to China. There is another good example from Bangladesh Barfham (2006) did an interview of a woman call Rahana Chandhuri who works in preen export factories. She said there are many women work in the garment export factories. Although the job is not fair, compare with other people, she still earns much money. A research shows that 86% of women work in the garment industry and their average monthly income are more than their neighbourhoods (Bardham, 2006). If the owners of those factories employed children work for them they will gain more profits. However, only few of them went back to school, most of t hem went to stone breaking or even child prostitution. Secondly, the economy of developing countries was helped by large international organisations such as economic groups. Those developing countries need to change something in order to fit those economic groups. It could be easily lost the autonomy of those countries. China enter WTO in 1999, nine hundred laws would need to be changed to adapt the world economy (Nolan, 2001). This might be the biggest challenge to Chinese retailers, for they have using the original laws for a long time, the changing of laws might make some of the small retailers go bankrupt. Moreover, changing laws could make China loose the autonomy in charting the complex path of economy reform. Thirdly, the globalization of culture destroyed local culture. Islam culture is a unique culture, and different from western culture. Turner (2007) argued that the development of global mass communication has influenced the Islam world. It is an extension of westernizati on, and will weaken the local culture. With the American hegemonic order, the Americanization has appeared many places all over the world. For example, many Chinese students or even adults are huge fans of NBA, a basketball association in America. Those fans even look conquer upon their own countries basketball association. Another example, McDonalds are in every part of China. Children like this American fast food than Chinese dishes. Politics, economy and culture all have the influence on nation-state. Media has two sides it has erosion on nation-state, but also makes the distance of countries shorter. The third part discussed if globalization destroyed nation-state or not. Globalization is a marque with two sides. For one aspect, the globalization made the developing countries out of poverty. People in those countries lived in a more comfortable life. Globalization also weakens the barriers of different countries, and makes the links of different countries. The distances of different countries are getting closer. However, globalization made some destroys of nation-state. For example, in some developing countries the factories owners hired children. Some developing countries have to change their laws to enter the economy groups to make more profit, so that those countries will probably loose their autonomy. Mad cow disease is issued from the fattening foods farmers give to their cattle. In the food ar sheeps bones grinded into tiny, tiny bits. Ignorant till the outburst, makers didnt know that in sheep bones there is the virus of the dreaded disease. The disease doesnt imply sheep as it is only in their bones precisely when the cows eat it, it gets into their systems and is passed on through their meat to humans. Many people are going stumble cow meat and onto horsemeat. Countless numbers of them are oblivious to the fact that horsemeat is just as dangerous as meat from a cow contaminated by mad cow disease. The antibiotics, wormers, parasites in the horses, the conditions the horses are in when slaughtered, etc these all affect the meat humans eat. I agree, humans need the protein from meat but we do eat enough animals, pigs, sheep, cows, chickens, turkeys, deer, fish. Should we really add a compassionate friend? Horses have served us many years without complaint. Should we just end their kind-hearted services by a knife? Horses are slaughtered in the most inhumane way possible. It doesnt start at the slaughterhouses, it starts long before that. close of the horses are stolen or bought from measly horse sales jam packed with killer buyers. Horses swap hands and end up in a time lag pen for the trailer to take them away. No water or food, a tiny space where they cant turn around. Many horses are lame, low or in horrendous condition, of all sizes and ages, from the noblest old horse to the youngest newborn. Its a long drive from this place to the slaughterhouse. A last the trailer comes. sometimes it is al work full, other times it is empty. The horses are loaded into it the door slammed shut and off it goes. There is no space, no food or drink and merely any light. The next stop could be twenty-four hours away sometimes even further. When they go through a frontier, the vets only glance quickly at the merchandise. If the horses are lucky, they are unloaded into a small pen and given water. Hungry and thirsty horses get vicious so many weaker ones get kicked or bitten. If the driver is in a hurry, water is often limited down to a hose through a slit or sometime... ...s, just interpreted out of their paddock because the horse thief can get a lot out of it for meat. Owners who sell their horses from a horse sale never know where their friend is going to end up. The prospective owner says that he will have an excellent home, a kind and loving rider and so on but he or she is always thinking excellent business. No one would refuse such a feast. Will you be able to look at a double decker trailer without flinching now that you know what happens? Are you going to close your eyes and turn you back on this inhumane doing? Or ar e you going to go out there and fight? Horse slaughter is a crying shame. How would you feel if I take your pet dog or cat away from you and throw it into a box, transport it for hours on end without food or water to a slaughterhouse, slit its throat and let it range to death on a blood sodden floor? The joy of writing admissions essays I speak out its good that I do this, that I solidify my thoughts into writing. Yet in pouring my feelings into words, I worry that they will become the structure I give them that my liquid essence will take the shape of whatever phrases I choose that my thoughts will be defined by the words I use and confined to the rigid boundaries of a language unable to accommodate the runniness of my mind that they will be limited to one distinct avenue when a linear direction does not suffice to express these multi-variable musings. It is easier to float in the sea of my unarticulated thoughts than to build a language boat and sail on a definite course, but in allowing myself to drift at the predilection of my minds currents, I get nowhere.   In articulating myself, I create a solid manifestation to which I can look and say, Thats what I believe. I may not define my feelings poorly when I leave them unspoken, but in refusing to solidify what I believe I have nothing nothing to share, nothing to find on, nothing by which to determine who I am. And so I take the risk of losing the tantalizing and comforting mystery of the infinite by committing myself to write. It is better this way.   I carry this - this perplexing barrier between what I think and what I say, between who I am and who I define myself to be, between what I think I carry and what I actually do.
